I was interested in learning all about parenting skills, because I watched too much Super Nanny. One of the books I bought was this one. Another full price item that gave me some basic knowledge about how children should be encouraged, disciplined according to the situation, and treated in terms of the family unit. If I sold it now I would probably only make half of what I paid, but I think that it is more valuable as a reference.

Harsh. This book is only worth 15 cents now? No it dropped again to 7 cents! Unbelievable, I paid a dollar! Anyway, this is what I am reading now. I am really enjoying it, despite the fact that it's net worth has plummeted. I guess its better than 1 cent. Although history might seem like a boring subject this book makes it engaging and relevant to the present time.

I bought this one kind of cheap. This is a book for people looking to escape the daily grind. It puts pretty pictures in your mind and you almost feel like you are in the garden with all the vegetables and herbs growing around you in the sun. It was a neat book but not for those who like action and suspense.

This is my reference bible of plant medicine. As a college student I chose to not sign up for health insurance. Luckily I never got seriously ill, but when I had the flu or other minor ailment I looked to this book for a low cost cure. I got my copy for $2.

I liked this album, but ofcourse I didn't know it existed until 2001 or so. I think it was also born in the 90's. China town (go figure) and Sweet Avenue are my favorite songs. I think it's more for people who are into deep thinking and art scenes. Sadly, I paid full price for this one, I think it was $15.99 at Tower Records.

This book really made me laugh. It's mostly a collection of pictures showing outrageous inventions. Some of the inventions make sense, but most of them look really bulky and strange on the user. As you can see I enjoy reading old books this one was published in 1995. This book makes a good present for someone going through a rough time as I am sure that it will cheer anyone up; it was really funny to me. Wow, 1 cents for this book that makes me sad, I better read it again.

No BS Business Success by Dan Kennedy

This is the book that got me started on reading business books. I always thought that these types of books were too advertisement plagued and silly to read but I became hooked after this one. Now I love reading business stuff because they give the reader a sense of hope and provide an air of positive re-enforcement. One suggestion that the author makes is to read as much as possible, otherwise I will be marked as outdated by my peers. I think this is good advice as improving your overall knowledge is essential to becoming more worldly. And no, this book did not turn me into pyramid scam girl or pro-money making scheme supporter. I think that it will help many people who are not interested in business because of the "chicken soup for the soul" type of angle that is used.

This was my first Amazon.com purchase. Even though my copy had obvious wear and tear, and I had to put clear plastic shipping tape on my book for protection, it was well worth the buy. I like his punchy writing style. It's not a straight foward story type book, but more of a conceptual segmented style type book about how television might be the end of us. This book was published in 1969. The cost seems to be the same. I give it a thumbs up.
